2024 swim season will begin with tryouts on Monday, May 6th, 2024.

5:30 pm with Shrimpers. 

The shrimpers (5-6 year old's unless a returning swimmer) will arrive with a parent and meet with the coaches. They will then work with the coaches to determine their maturity and readiness to learn to swim independently. We are looking for coachability and willingness to participate in group instruction.

6 pm 10 & under

The 10 & under swimmers will arrive with a parent and meet with the coaches. They will then work with the coaches to determine their maturity and readiness to swim independently & learn the 4 strokes of competitive swimming. We are looking at current abilities, attitude, coachability & willingness to respectfully participate in group instruction.

6:30 pm 11 & up

The 11 & up swimmers will arrive (parents are welcomed) & meet with the coaches. They will then swim a 50 free (required) & any other of the 4 strokes of competitive swimming. We are looking at current abilities, attitude, coachability & willingness to respectfully participate in group instruction. Although completion of 50 meters of freestyle is required to make the team a select number of swimmers that can complete 50 meters in any fashion i.e. doggie paddle, swim underwater, or any combination of the above & are highly motivated to learn may be offered the opportunity for 4-5 swim lessons at no cost prior to a supplemental tryout opportunity.

All meets are posted and the tentative practice schedule will be fully posted soon.  We will practice unless we have a meet almost every Monday -Thursday in May & June.
